Are you between the ages of 16-25, and a member of an up-and-coming band or group?
Have you been writing music, performing and "pounding the pavement" - in the hopes of one day being discovered?
Then MuchMusic wants to hear from you!
MuchMusic is currently casting for a new, 1/2 hour reality show that highlights both the fun of making music AND the difficulties that come with being an unknown Canadian band. This means, you have to be willing to give us full access into your daily lives for several days.
Not only will your band be given national exposure on MuchMusic, but you will be given an amazing opportunity to perform in front of industry professionals who will help determine if you have that "IT" factor.
All musical styles welcome!
If you are interested, please answer the following questions:
What is each band/group member's age?
Where are you from?
What is your band/group called?
How long have you been playing?
What is your style of music?
Who are your influences?
What are your goals?
Are you working or in school?
What are you struggling with? (jobs, family, school, girlfriend/boyfriends etc)
If you have an interesting story, share it... but please be brief.
**PLEASE NOTE - interested bands or groups MUST have a MySpace page or link to a website, where we can see photos and hear samples of your music**

 There are two things you can try to be a part of the MuchOnDemand audience. 1: Jump into your TV. This will not work, ever. 2: Navigate through MuchMusic's secret, but dangerous underground entrance. This will also never work. There IS an easier way to be here for a live taping!
If you're between the ages of 16-26 (with a valid photo ID), you can be here for free ninety-nine. Yes, absolutely free. MOD is shot live on Monday to Friday from 5-6pm ET. All you gotta do is call (416) 870-6824 and hit option 3 anytime. Then, show up at MuchMusic HQ, 299 Queen Street West, at 3:45pm on the day of the show. So round up your friends, clubs, classes, teams or your university rez crew, and get on down here! |
